Our approach to fire detection
Fire detection systems are installed to detect fire alarm conditions within a building and emit warning signals.
Smoke, heat or flame detector devices are used to this effect, as well as fire alarm sirens, automatic phone dialers or manual alarm points such as the well known ‘break-glass callpoints’.
Depending on the size of the installation, one may opt for a conventional system or an analogue system. With analogue systems, which are more commonly used by SMEs and less so in private homes, each sensor individually signals its status regarding soiling, sensitivity, etc. to the exchange.
The largest analogue system we have installed is comprised of 750 of these detectors.
Spans Protection can provide these installations according to NBN-S2100 regulations and have them approved by a notified body (ANPI).
